Zahir Kahn, originally from Montreal, has been a pivotal force in the film industry's VFX post-production sector, dedicating over 12 years to honing his craft as a Lead Artist on feature films. While in Montreal, he actively produced and directed award-winning short films in his spare time. In 2020, Zahir relocated to Toronto to take on a leading role at MPC (formerly Mr.X), where he has led several teams and played a crucial role in developing establishment shots for films and episodic content. This move also marked a shift in his creative approach, as he began experimenting with new film-making mediums, including paint-over techniques to achieve a painterly look, eventually leading him into the realms of AI. With his extensive background in VFX, digital painting, and now AI, Zahir has developed a sophisticated workflow that empowers creatives to revolutionize storytelling, making him a pioneer in using advanced technology to craft innovative narratives in the digital age.
